I provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the therapy intervention demonstrated to have the most research-based evidence for its effectiveness in helping children with behavioral and emotional problems. CBT focuses on the interplay between how we think, feel, and act. It incorporates the use of strategies, in office practice, and homework to improve functioning. Telehealth sessions are offered and encouraged, when clinically and medically appropriate.

  • In addition to using CBT, I also integrate other types of therapy as needed, such as play, acceptance and commitment therapy, family work, and the Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS) treatment model.

I provide the following services:

    • Behavioral problems (oppositional behavior, tantrums, defiance, aggression, impulse control, ADHD)

    • Anxiety (worry, fear, separation anxiety, panic, phobias, OCD)
